CTAS
CTAS, the Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation, is a federal funding process that bundles several tribal justice and public-safety grant programs into one application. Complete, attributed records make CTAS reporting straightforward.
The Department of Justice runs CTAS annually so tribes can apply once across multiple purpose areas, from tribal courts to public safety and children's programs, instead of chasing each grant separately.
Court technology and case management commonly fit within the tribal-justice purpose areas, and a one-time, on-premises purchase maps cleanly to how those awards are budgeted.
The other half of the grant is the reporting. When every record is attributed and sealed as it is made, the counts a CTAS report asks for already exist, and the annual report stops being a reconstruction project.
